India's 2027 State Election Calendar
Seven state legislative assemblies — representing over 940 seats and an estimated 21+ crore eligible voters — go to the polls across 2027. Five states elected in early 2022 (Goa, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Manipur) complete their terms together around February–March, while Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat, elected later in 2022, follow in November and December.
