Goa Assembly Election 2027

Goa, India's smallest state by area, elects 40 MLAs from Tiswadi, Bardez, Pernem, Bicholim, Sattari and Ponda talukas in North Goa and Salcete, Mormugao, Quepem, Sanguem, Canacona and Dharbandora in South Goa. The BJP has governed continuously since 2012, though the 2022 result was fragmented across BJP, Congress, AAP, the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party, the Goa Forward Party and the Revolutionary Goans Party. Coastal tourism, mining policy and migration are recurring campaign themes heading into 2027.
